Carolyn is a seasoned health technology educator, strategist, privacy and security technology expert for the federal government, state health departments, and national medical societies. She’s also a medical technology change agent for thousands of physicians across the country who today use secure computers to track the best care for their patients and communicate with them.
Carolyn is a collaborative author and has worked with Peter Wong (The Caregiver’s Toolbox), Edward D Jones (HIPAA Plain & Simple, EHR Implementation Step by Step Guide), Deborah Shouse (Working Woman’s Communications Survival Guide, and From Patient to Payment: Insurance Procedures for the Medical Office).
Her passion is leveraging her broad healthcare experiences to champion unpaid family caregivers balance work – life – play while navigating the complex health system.
Her novels, short story collections, and essays are influenced by strong women who overcame odds imposed on them to be a dramatic change agent for women.
